Background


Founded in 2007, buyMyplace is transforming the way Australians buy, sell and rent property by removing the need for traditional real estate agents and enabling the owner to retain 100% of the profits. The buyMyplace platform empowers property owners by giving them the necessary tools and insights to successfully list and promote their property online and easily generate a professional digital advertising campaign like an agent.

buyMyplace remains a unique service provider by using digital technology to give its customers a fast, easy and rewarding alternative.


Our Involvement


Skychute and the buyMyplace management team have worked closely to bring this new service offering to life. We began our journey with buyMyplace in 2019 when there became a growing need for them to own their own software and cease relying on third party suppliers. Their vision was to create a dynamic digital platform that could reliably deliver on its service promise to it users and empower buyMyplace to take control of its business destiny for many years to come.

Working collaboratively, we built from the ground up, an entirely new platform for buyMyplace and its users, starting with a significant research and design piece that refined the core offering and service features, largely focused on making it as easy as possible for customers to sign up and get the benefits of the platform.


Our goal was to deliver a more refined and reliable platform that easily allowed people to upload their property listings to the buyMyplace online portal and manage their entire marketing campaign independently, from brouchure production, sign boards, banners and photography.


The Result


The project is ongoing and expected to launch in Q3 2020.
