Background


EZ-Leads is an Australian based Telecommunications Technology Company founded in 2015 with a primary product of a smartphone app and web-app that enables real estate agents to exchange leads with other agents anywhere in Australia and the United States of America, within seconds. This service provides a digital platform for agents to introduce potential buyers and sellers to other qualified and professional agents in locations they wish to buy or sell. This introduction often results in a transaction which is beneficial to the buyers, sellers and agents involved.


Our Involvement


We began helping EZ-Leads in 2018 with a unique problem they faced during their initial multi-platform app build by an overseas development team. The app was a ground- breaking solution requiring very specific features, functions and user interface. Cracks began to appear using an offshore team when the developers lacked knowledge of the real estate category and came from vastly different cultures regarding property transactions and internal business systems. Soon after, Skychute and EZ-Leads were introduced.


We understood both the proposed use for the real estate marketplace and the type of requirements to immediately move forward.

The first goal was completing the app. Our approach was to create a single webapp version, with a simple iOS and Android app and have two main functions including real time and push notification alerts through mobile phones that would be generated from within the webapp version.


Once the app was built, the second task we embarked upon was the product roll out strategy. We advised EZ-Leads on best and most cost effective and efficient scenarios to increase maximum agent engagement. Here, we also created another product feature, tying in with our strategy, and allowing EZ-Leads to offer multiple channels to engage groups of agents quickly and monetise the app.


Along the way we also happily provide basic tech skills to EZ-Leads at times when they need us.


The Result


The product successfully launched in April 2020, after undergoing significant testing. This result was achieved by delivering the software needed for EZ-Leads to get their product into market and optimise it to sure-up usability and market appeal. The outcome was a wholistic solution built on the bigger picture needs of both EZ-Leads and the real estate industry.
